What is an ATEX order organ ?

One aTEX ORDER is a device (push-button, switch, light, selector, etc.) designed to be used safely in explosive atmospheres (ATEX 1/21 or 2/22 zones). These equipment is certified according to the standards ATEX (Directive 2014/34 / EU) and / or Iecex, guaranteeing their resistance to the risk of inflammation.

A2S does it offer custom ATEX boxes ?

Yes I do. At A2S, we design Custom ATEX Boxes depending on your needs: number and type of control members, materials (GRP, stainless steel, aluminum), dimensions, pressures, environmental constraints, etc. Our teams accompany you to the definition of the need on delivery.

What materials do you recommend for a ATEX box ?

It depends on the environment:

Stainless steel 316L : for corrosive media, offshore, chemical industry.
Aluminum : Excellent intercourse light / strength.
GRP (reinforced polyester) : Robust, lightweight, UV resistant.

Can we integrate several functions into a single ATEX box ?

Absolutely. We can group together in the same aTEX control box several functions: emergency stop, signaling indicator, reset button, mode selector, etc. Everything is designed to stay certified and compliant.

Do you propose solutions for areas 21 and 22 (dust) ?

Yes I do. Our products are designed for both gAS ZONES (0, 1, 2) that for the dust Zones (20, 21, 22). We always tell you the double certification when available (ex d / ex tb).

What are the average means of manufacturing and delivery ?

Deadlines vary according to complexity:

Standard products: 1 to 2 weeks.
Custom solutions: 2 to 4 weeks on average.

Do you provide the ATEX / IECEX certificates ?

Yes I do. Each box or order body is provided with:

ATEX Certificate of Conformity
Installation instructions
Technical scheme or implantation if necessary
