The 9172 Series Relay module separates intrinsically safe and intrinsically safe signal circuits. For this, it provides intrinsic safety inputs and binary outputs with two channels. Depending on the version, the device is equipped with an intrinsic safety control or intrinsically safe output contact and can therefore be used as an output or input insulator.
