What is an ATEX HVAC system?

A system HVAC ATEX (Heating, ventilation & air-conditioning explosion) is designed to function safely in explosive atmospheres defined by the 1/2 (gas) and 21/22 (dust) zones. The material is protected by ex d, ex d, or ex p envelopes, limiting the sources of ignition: sparks, hot surfaces, electric arcs. Unlike conventional equipment, each component (motor, thermostat, pressure switch ...) carries an EX marking mentioning the class t, the gas group (IB or IIC) and category 2 or 3. The result: reliable climate control, continuous and consistent with the 2014/34 / EU Directive to protect your teams, your processes and your site.

ATEX heating

Thermoplongeurs

Cartridges or flanges up to 1000 kW, incoloy element or stainless steel, integrated temperature sensor; for tanks, exchangers and separators.

Radiators

Heavy heaters Fan Heaters or radiating panels for technical premises: powers of 500 to 10,000 W, Class T3 / T4, ex D fan with lubricated lubricated bearings.

Heating resistors

Tubular or shielded resistors for electrical cabinets, trace-heating heaters, drum boiler plates - Possible adjustment by thermostat ex e or remote PID regulator.

ATEX VENTILATION

Axial extractors

Flows up to 60 000 m³ / h, antistatic aluminum turbines, ex D iib T4 motor mounted on silent bloc. Ideal for renewing the air of pump halls, loading stations or technical containers.

Centrifugal extractors

Bent Back or Forward-Curved Wheel for Pressures ≥ 2000 Pa. Epoxy or Stainless Steel Steel Case 316L, ATEX Mechanical Trim, Rain Cover "Spark-Free" for Dust Areas 21/22.

Wall-mounted spllies

Compact interior units 3.5 → 12 kW, limited R-32 fluid GWP, Ex P pressurized electric box to preserve the original performance of the manufacturer (SEER> 6.0).
