Position switches position, control and monitor moving parts of machinery and systems. Because they correspond to the product standards EN 50 041 and IEC 60947-5-1, they can also be used as position switches with security function. The 8074/2 series position switches are approved for use in Ex 1, 2, 21 and 22 zones. In combination with a safety door controller and a suitable circuit, the position switches reach the Pl "E" level according to the standard EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 according to EN 62061. They are marked with a sign for a forced contact. Versions offering different sofa and sudden-bruising contact forms as well as a wide variety of actuators are available.
