The range of cable glands 5F allows the connection of an armed cable by strip, wire or braid. ADE 5F is available in nickel-plated brass or 316L stainless steel, with an ISO or NPT thread. This cable gland can be used for expanded antidoflage applications (ex d) or increased safety (ex e), in dust zones (ex tb) and also in mines (group I M2). The exploratory sealing is provided by a silicone ring on the inner sheath of the cable, supplemented by a second silicone ring on the outer sheath of the cable. Anchoring has an anti-rotation function, it is easy to implement, inspectable and compatible with all types of armor, to efficiently ensure the continuity towards the ground. The operating temperature range is -60 ° C to +140 ° C. For a lead cable, provide a continuity washer (to be ordered as an accessory).
