The module is for field stations I.S. 1 and can only be installed in zone 2 / division 2 or in safe zone. For zone 2, a housing with a degree of protection of at least IP54 is necessary. The module is plugged into the system's bus I.S. 1. It is recommended to place the module 9477/15 next to the CPM (9440). To meet the separation distance of 50 mm with respect to the connection terminals for the EX I modules, a separation partition (162740) is required. Electric circuits without intrinsic safety can be connected to the module by respecting the maximum current, voltage and power values (see technical characteristics). The switching current of the contacts must be limited to 2 A (eg fuse or current limitation).
