Flashing tags X700 Series

The synchronized X700 series is suitable for industrial and maritime signaling applications requiring a more powerful visual signal. These tags work in flashing mode. The xenon tags (sometimes called stroboscopes) are controlled by a PCB and highlight a short but very bright flash, by ionization, then discharge a large current by the Xenon gas in a tube. This unit is designed to operate both independently or as part of a synchronized string of tags (maximum of 10 in a string). This design also includes a failure control mode when used in a synchronized string that will manifest itself by a positive signal on the line and the string will stop flashing. Possible failures are: power failure, synchronization failure, capacitor failure or tube failure. The device also offers a choice of four flash speeds and two power settings. The termination is by duct knockouts on the sides of the unit and can incorporate M16 to the m32 cable glands. The termination is inside the housing.
