Eaton Has a wide range of detectors for conventional fire alarm systems designed to meet the requirements of almost all applications. There are two different models: the detector 5 in 1, versatile, easily switchable, grouping all the detection modes, and the single detector detector detector. Each of the models is available with optical, opto-thermal and heat detection. The most popular detection mode, the optical smoke detector is suitable for tertiary applications, ensuring a maximum reactivity in the event of a slow combustion fire or vessel fires that release large visible smoke particles. As for the opto-thermal detector, it reacts quickly to clean and fast combustion fires. Featuring an advantage over optical detectors, they offer maximum reactivity to the bumps that release large visible smoke particles. The thermal development of this detector offers a higher alarm threshold that avoids a greater number of false alerts. The detector also triggers an alarm at temperatures above 60ºC. The heat detection option can be configured in three detection modes: there are two 77oc and 92oc heat modes, as well as a thermovelocimetric functionality that is in charge of detecting the rapid rise in temperature.
