Castel Group: smoke detector
Solution and commissioning
A2S has signed a contract with the Castel Group's purchasing power plant for the supply of a vacuum fire detection and signalling system*. This system is intended to equip the preform plant – plastic bottle size transformation – of Yopougon operated by the Société de Limonaderies et Brasseries d'Afrique (Solibra) in Côte d'Ivoire.
The solution
Thanks to a partnership with a local installer, LIEDS, the service entrusted to A2S ranges from definition of the solution to commissioning. The issue is to ensure the safety of the people and property of this production site by detecting as soon as possible a fire departure in order to trigger the necessary actions (alert, evacuation, extinction). Precocity, efficiency and reliability are therefore the three features of the system provided which must prevent any disruption of operation. * Multi-punctual smoke detection: continuous air sampling by a pipe network with software calibrated apertures for each project to accurately calculate air flow and provide an early warning of imminent fire risk. Each detector corresponds to an area and is connected to the fire plant.
