The IS940.2 is a rugged 5G Android tablet designed for data communication in hazardous industrial environments, particularly Zone 2/22 applications. Its 10.1" Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display can be operated with gloves, making it well suited for field applications in process industries and automation.

Powered by a Qualcomm QCM6490 Octa Core processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable internal storage, the tablet provides the performance required for professional and IIoT applications. It supports 4G/5G networks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC connectivity.

The IS940.2 also features a replaceable 8160 mAh battery, front and rear cameras, programmable buttons and a red key that can be configured for SOS or lone worker protection functions. Its ISM interfaces and docking interface facilitate integration into industrial installations.

Its rugged design combines IP68 protection, MIL-STD-810H compliance and an operating temperature range from -20 °C to +55 °C.
